"Visitpompeii" is specialized in educational trips and tours for school groups. We offer customized trips and tours for teachers and students to the places of the Naples area such as Pompeii, Herculaneum, the Archaeological Museum, Paestum, Capri etc. Based on my past experience as a school teacher in Italy and in UK I have developed my natural skills to explain the history in a very easy way with anecdotes and real facts.

POMPEII TOUR
Duration 2 hours and a half.
Itinerary: the guide will meet out of Pompeii's main entrance Porta Marina Superiore starting the day with a visit to the wonderful archaeological town that was buried by lava and mud following the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. The town is high on the list of the Wonders of the World and the excavations begun in the 18th Century are still being carried out. We will visit the shops, the Forum, the bodies of the victims, the longest street (1 mile long), the ghetto with 27 brothels, a 20,000 square feet house, the 2 theatres, the Spa for men and Villas built by wealthy Romans.

POMPEII & HERCULANEUM
Duration 4 hours.
The guide will meet you by the ticket office starting the day in the morning with a visit to the wonderful archaeological towns that were buried by lava and mud following the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD. The towns are high on the list of the Wonders of the World and the excavations begun in the 18th Century are still being carried out.
By Circumvesuviana train we will first get to Herculaneum which was covered by a mud slide and is better preserved than Pompeii.
Itinerary: we'll visit the House of Skeleton, Temple of Augustales, the SPA for women, the House of the wooden partition, the Samnite House, the House of Neptune and Amphitrite, the large Gym. Herculaneum is smaller but more aristocratic, while POMPEII is vast, and takes more than one visit: we will visit  the shops, the Forum, the bodies of the victims, the longest street (1 mile long), the ghetto with 27 brothels, a 20,000 house square feet, the 2 theatres, the Spa for men and Villas built by wealthy Romans.
